Facciamo un bel salto all’indietro e precisamente il 21 giugno 1997 quando i Pizzicato Five rilasciarono il loro album intitolato “Happy End of the World“.
Venne venduto anche negli Stati Uniti ottenendo un ottimo 32° posto nella classifica Billboard.
Nel 2007 la rivista Rolling Stones piazzò Happy End of the World alla 64a posizione nella “100 Greatest Japanese Rock Albums of All Time“.
